Homemade

For my New Years resolution I want to become more self sufficent in the kitchen. And I think I will start with attempting to make my own yogurt. I found a recipe from 101 cookbooks, but it recommends that I need a yogurt maker. Anyone know if it is possible to make yogurt without a specific yogurt maker?
Have a great week!

  1. I'm pretty sure you can just do it with cheese cloth.

  2. All you need besides the ingredients is a thermometer and a warm place to incubate it. Oven with the light on may work for you. I've been planning to make an incubator, I may have to make two.
